Thank you St Benedict's for helping us feed our community!

Our partner school, St Benedict’s, made a contribution that allowed us to provide for our families during this xenophobic wave. With their donation we bought soup packs and mielie meal for all our families.

Week 2 of our holiday programme was filled with more brilliant activities for our learners to engage in! On the last day, the @UWEBristol teams presented the work they had done with the children to the parents and the children who put on a show to demonstrate what they learnt.

"We hold to the idea that, in times like these, the classroom is one of the few places where a child’s papers, accent, or birthplace do not decide whether they belong. We keep our doors open because someone must.”
