Last week we joined a public consultation hosted by the Department of Home Affairs on the draft revised White Paper on citizenship, immigration and refugee protection. Taking part in these discussions will help shape our submissions on the White Paper and inform our advocacy work

Literacy is a powerful gift for children and their futures, and our volunteer Helen embodies this so beautifully. She works patiently with students in our project who struggle with reading, sitting with them daily, listening carefully, and offering gentle guidance where needed

As we start off the year, CoRMSA members gathered for their Members’ Meeting on 22 January 2026 in Gauteng.

The meeting provided a space to reflect on the year that had passed and to collectively discuss priorities & plans for the year ahead.
